▽About Igarashi Logo
The Igarashi Logo was designed by Takenobu Igarashi, a designer and sculptor from Takigawa City, Hokkaido for Shibuya PARCO PART3 (opened in 1981). It is still used as an exterior wall sign at several stores such as Kichijoji and Nagoya, and the neon sign installed at the former Shibuya PARCO is carefully shown in permanent exhibition in Shibuya and Shinsaibashi stores.
The Igarashi Logo symbolizes the PARCO culture that has been passed down through times. In 2025, "A-Z Homage to Takenobu Igarashi" was held to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Sapporo PARCO's opening, inheriting Igarashi's design philosophy, all A-Z alphabets were produced, and a new series was born.
