This event is a two-part system, a talk session and a workshop.
While touching African culture, we will provide you with time not only to "know" about international cooperation and ethical consumption, but also to act on your own*•

Accessories made using African print cloth imported directly from Africa.
You will make earrings and cuff buttons with vivid cloths made in the producer's life and culture.
*Part of the participation fee will be donated through Free the Children's Japan and used for educational support.

In 1997, when I was an intern at an American NGO, I read Craig's article in a magazine one day that founded Free the Children, resonated with the idea of "international cooperation for children to support children," and established the Japan branch in 1999 after returning to Japan to introduce them to Japanese children.
Currently, as many as 1,500 children and young people are active as members.

Born in Toyonaka City, Osaka Prefecture. Graduated from Doshisha University's Faculty of Letters. Mother of two children who started a business at the age of 24 and are raising children while running a company.
